Are more owners trying to sell their 範囲 Rovers?

The data shows that availability of the modernised Land Rover Defender has grown by 12.5 per cent on the used market.

JLR's new car sales grow by a fifth on the 支援する of 需要・要求する for new Defender and 範囲 Rover models

JLR 確認するd earlier this week that it sold 431,733 cars globally in the 財政上の year ending 31 March 2024, up 22 per cent on the same period a year earlier.

To better understand what's happening to the value of used Land Rover and 範囲 Rovers, we asked market data providers Cap Hpi to 供給(する) 普通の/平均(する) prices for March 2024 compared to the same month a year earlier.

We have broken the data 負かす/撃墜する into three age groups: one-year-old examples; three-year-old 乗り物s; and 10-year-old cars.

The 人物/姿/数字s are based on the 普通の/平均(する) price 達成するd for each model by 売買業者s and at auction last year compared to this.

For instance, we are only looking at what a one-year-old 範囲 Rover Sport sold for in March 2023 versus what a one-year-old 範囲 Rover Sport 達成するd last month.?

This is therefore a 手段 of price デフレ and not 価値低下 (which is when a car becomes いっそう少なく 価値のある as it gets older). It 明らかにする/漏らすs how much prices have nosedived in the last 12 months, although its important to 公式文書,認める the wider market has seen used car prices 落ちる.

However, there are still some big 減少(する)s in value for nearly-new Land Rover and 範囲 Rover models.?

And the worst 事例/患者 has fallen in value by almost three times the market 普通の/平均(する).?

Cap Hpi tells us that the 普通の/平均(する) year-old (10k miles) used car price dropped by 11.5 per cent between March 2023 (£40,033) and last month (£35,421).

However, Land Rover and 範囲 Rover 製品s of this 世代 slipped on 普通の/平均(する) by 15.7 per cent.

The Land Rover model 攻撃する,衝突する hardest is the 範囲 Rover Evoque P300e Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV).

In March 2023, a year-old example with 10,000 miles on the clock would have been 価値(がある) £47,180. But last month, 売買業者s were 転換ing year-old Evoque PHEVs for £31,810. That's a loss of £15,370, or a 拒絶する/低下する of 32.6 per cent.

The only car to deflate in value by more than the Evoque PHEV is Lexus' electric UX, which fell by 34.2 per cent over the same period.?

While there ar e still some sizeable 拒絶する/低下するs in this age bracket - between around 10 and 30 per cent on a year ago - there hasn't been such a punishing 衝撃 of デフレ on these older cars.

The most 重要な 落ちるs are for the 範囲 Rover Sport ディーゼルs covering two 世代s dating 支援する from 2019 to 2009, 負かす/撃墜する 32.1 and 28.2 per cent on their price a year ago.

And the Evoque is a big loser again, with the first-世代 car 落ちるing 支援する in value by 31.6 per cent for ディーゼルs and 30.0 per cent for 石油s.

That said, the 普通の/平均(する) prices across all used cars of this age and 普通の/平均(する) mileage are 負かす/撃墜する 24.1 per cent year-on-year, as the second-手渡す market for older モーターs becomes いっそう少なく 招待するing.
