Owners of Land Rovers and 範囲 Rovers are already 直面するing 騒然とした times.

Not only are 科学（工学）技術-武装した 犯罪の ギャング（団）s 的ing their 高級な SUVs using calculated new methods, their 保険 賞与金s are ロケット／急騰するing as the crimewave has made some underwriters twitchy about covering them.

Many drivers might - understandably - be tempted to sell or offload their cars to 避ける spiralling costs, but market data shows the value of these expensive SUVs has 宙返り／暴落するd compared to a year ago.

In the worst 事例／患者 シナリオ, owners of three-year-old 範囲 Rover Evoque hybrids have seen the 普通の／平均（する） price for their モーター dive by 33.9 per cent - the 同等（の） of £13,170 - compared to what the same car was 価値（がある） 12 months earlier.

So what does this mean for 範囲 Rover and Land Rover owners? We take an in-depth look at whether drivers are trying to flog their cars and how parent group Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is trying to solve the problem by spending millions to retrofit older cars with its most up-to-date 安全 tech.?

Are more owners trying to sell their 範囲 Rovers?

There have been さまざまな 報告（する）／憶測s （人命などを）奪う，主張するing owners are trying to offload their Land Rover 乗り物s as soon as possible to escape unaffordable 賞与金s.

Car selling website Motorway said the 範囲 Rover was the most-sold car in February - ahead of more ありふれた models 含むing the VW ゴルフ and 小型の.

For instance, there were 4,853 範囲 Rover Sports 利用できる on 自動車 仲買人 in February 2023. In the same month this year, there were 4,991 - just 138 (2.8 per cent) more.

In the 事例／患者 of the 十分な-fat 範囲 Rover and Land Rover 発見, there were more on sale a year ago than last month, while 範囲 Rover Velar and Land Rover 発見 Sport numbers for sale remained 比較して flat.

The biggest 増加する in availability was the 範囲 Rover Evoque - up from 5,800 in February 2023 compared to 6,144 la st year, which is an uplift of almost 6 per cent.?

The data shows that availability of the modernised Land Rover Defender has grown by 12.5 per cent on the used market.

However, this is to be 推定する／予想するd given it was only 開始する，打ち上げるd in 2020 and is therefore starting from a very low base.?

Marc Palmer, 長，率いる of 戦略 and insight at 自動車 仲買人, said 拒絶する／低下するs in used car prices are driven by two things: the result of 増加する in 在庫／株 in the last 12 months , and any 増加するd 供給（する） of new cars 減ずるing 競争 in the second-手渡す market.

'Car prices are ひどく 影響（力）d by changing market dynamics,' Palmer explained.

'Although used car 需要・要求する remains very 強健な, 普通の／平均（する） prices have 軟化するd over the last year, 大部分は 予定 to a sharp 増加する in levels of 供給（する）.?

'This same 傾向 has 影響する／感情d Land Rovers and 範囲 Rovers - にもかかわらず 消費者 需要・要求する 増加するing on last year's levels, it's been より勝るd by rising 容積／容量s of 在庫／株 in the market.'

To better understand what's happening to the value of used Land Rover and 範囲 Rovers, we asked market data providers Cap Hpi to 供給（する） 普通の／平均（する） prices for March 2024 compared to the same month a year earlier.

We have broken the data 負かす／撃墜する into three age groups: one-year-old examples; three-year-old 乗り物s; and 10-year-old cars.

The 人物／姿／数字s are based on the 普通の／平均（する） price 達成するd for each model by 売買業者s and at auction last year compared to this.

For instance, we are only looking at what a one-year-old 範囲 Rover Sport sold for in March 2023 versus what a one-year-old 範囲 Rover Sport 達成するd last month.?

This is therefore a 手段 of price デフレ and not 価値低下 (which is when a car becomes いっそう少なく 価値のある as it gets older). It 明らかにする／漏らすs how much prices have nosedived in the last 12 months, although its important to 公式文書，認める the wider market has seen used car prices 落ちる.

All of the cars 落ちるing into this age bracket will have JLR's 最新の 安全 system 任命する／導入するd (you can read more about this below) and therefore are best 保護するd against the tech-savvy 犯罪の ギャング（団）s 的ing 高級な モーターs.

However, there are still some big 減少（する）s in value for nearly-new Land Rover and 範囲 Rover models.?

And the worst 事例／患者 has fallen in value by almost three times the market 普通の／平均（する）.?

Cap Hpi tells us that the 普通の／平均（する） year-old (10k miles) used car price dropped by 11.5 per cent between March 2023 (£40,033) and last month (£35,421).

However, Land Rover and 範囲 Rover 製品s of this 世代 slipped on 普通の／平均（する） by 15.7 per cent.

The Land Rover model 攻撃する，衝突する hardest is the 範囲 Rover Evoque P300e Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV).

In March 2023, a year-old example with 10,000 miles on the clock would have been 価値（がある） £47,180. But last month, 売買業者s were 転換ing year-old Evoque PHEVs for £31,810. That's a loss of £15,370, or a 拒絶する／低下する of 32.6 per cent.

The only car to deflate in value by more than the Evoque PHEV is Lexus' electric UX, which fell by 34.2 per cent over the same period.?

It's a 類似の story for the Land Rover 発見 Sport with the same PHEV powertrain, which is 負かす／撃墜する by 30.2 per cent (£14,300).

- Three-year-old cars with an 普通の／平均（する） of 30,000 miles on the clock

Like the one-year-old car 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） above, all the Land Rover and 範囲 Rover models that 落ちる into this age bracket either have JLR's up-to-date 安全 tech as 基準 or are 適格の to have it 任命する／導入するd as a 解放する／自由な 昇格.

As such, these cars should also be 井戸／弁護士席 保護するd from thieves with the 最新の tech.

Yet it hasn't stopped used prices from slipping.

Of the three-year-old cars - with an 普通の／平均（する） of 30,000 miles on the clock - 攻撃する，衝突する hardest ーに関して／ーの点でs of value デフレ, the order is 類似の to the younger age bracket 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d above.?

The prime fallers again, are the 範囲 Rover Evoque and?Land Rover 発見 Sport with PHEV drivetrains, slipping by 33.9 per cent (£13,170) and 30.9 per cent (£12,250) それぞれ.

The hybrid 見解／翻訳／版 of the previous-世代 範囲 Rover Sport is also losing ground on prices from a year ago (負かす／撃墜する 31.2 pre cent).

Again, it's only the electric Lexus UX that 成し遂げるs worse than these three JLR 製品s, while the eighth biggest デフレ across all cars is the 範囲 Rover Sport with ディーゼル engines.

In contrast, the Land Rover Defender is the model that's managing to 突き破る off the sharp デフレ in value.

In fact, the Defender ディーゼル at 9.8 per cent 負かす／撃墜する in value is the only Land Rover 製品 with below used-car-普通の／平均（する） デフレ of 12.3 per cent in March.

JLR says most of its （弁護士の）依頼人s select a three-year 所有権 cycle and 予報するd values for the new 範囲 Rover and 範囲 Rover Sport (which we 港／避難所't 含むd here 予定 to the cars not 存在 on sale for more than three years) are の中で the best in their 部類.

Patrick McGillycuddy, JLR UK's managing director, said: 'The entire used market has experienced 前例のない 条件s and is realigning に引き続いて historic highs.?

The final age group of cars we asked Cap Hpi to 排他的に run data on for us was for Land Rover and 範囲 Rover models that 落ちる outside of the 安全 昇格 window.

While JLR has 約束d to 申し込む／申し出 解放する／自由な 昇格s to those 運動ing models dating 支援する to 2016, we 手配中の，お尋ね者 to know the price デフレ 衝撃 on 2013-year モーターs that are not 適格の.

While there ar e still some sizeable 拒絶する／低下するs in this age bracket - between around 10 and 30 per cent on a year ago - there hasn't been such a punishing 衝撃 of デフレ on these older cars.

The most 重要な 落ちるs are for the 範囲 Rover Sport ディーゼルs covering two 世代s dating 支援する from 2019 to 2009, 負かす／撃墜する 32.1 and 28.2 per cent on their price a year ago.

And the Evoque is a big loser again, with the first-世代 car 落ちるing 支援する in value by 31.6 per cent for ディーゼルs and 30.0 per cent for 石油s.

That said, the 普通の／平均（する） prices across all used cars of this age and 普通の／平均（する） mileage are 負かす／撃墜する 24.1 per cent year-on-year, as the second-手渡す market for older モーターs becomes いっそう少なく 招待するing.

Why are Land Rover models 存在 的d by thieves?

Thousands of owners of expensive 範囲 Rover and Land Rover cars have become the unfortunate 死傷者 of these 井戸／弁護士席-基金d organised ギャング（団）s 捜し出すing out high-end モーターs to steal, often to quickly 負担 into コンテナs to keep them out of sight before shipping them overseas without a trace.

Yet some drivers have been 辞退するd cover even through JLR's own 保険 計画／陰謀.

What else has JLR done to try to solve the problem?
