The Bugs 事柄 調査する is based on the windscreen 現象 ? anecdotal 証拠 from drivers that they collect より小数の moths, 飛行機で行くs, aphids, bees and 飛行機で行くing beetles on their windscreens than they did in the past.

The now-年次の 調査する asks members of the public to 記録，記録的な／記録する the number of 飛行機で行くing insects squashed on their number plate, and compares it with data from an RSPB 分析 in 2004 which used the same methods.

Since the 初めの 調査する in 2004, 記録，記録的な／記録するs from nearly 26,500 旅行s across the UK have been analysed.

To 参加する the 計画／陰謀, drivers cleaned their number plate before making an 必須の 旅行, 記録，記録的な／記録するd the 大勝する on their 動きやすい phone, and afterwards counted the insects squashed on it using a 'splatometer grid' 供給（する）d as part of the 調査する.
