The heartbreaking moment a 海がめ choked on a piece of plastic was 逮捕（する）d by divers off the coast of?Hawaii, 最高潮の場面ing the 規模 of 汚染 in our oceans.
A group of 100 individuals strapped with scuba gear spent Earth Day （疑いを）晴らすing 汚染 off the seafloor in Oahu and watched in horror as the sea animal mistook the waste for a jellyfish.

'Whilst we were live streaming the clean up to thousands of people on my TikTok, this beautiful green sea 海がめ slowly approached us and spat this plastic out.
'I just thought you poor baby, we don't know how much plastic she could've had in her stomach either.
'She just swam 権利 up to us, looked in the camera and spat the plastic 権利 out. It was like she was trying to tell us something.
'They love to eat jellyfish and they just can't tell the difference.'

The ビデオ echoed another in 2015 that was 逮捕（する）d by 研究員s off the coast of Costa Rica.
海洋 biologist Christine Figgener and her team （機の）カム across a sea 海がめ in the waters, noticing something was 宿泊するd in its nose.
