'I have always felt from my earliest 青年 that I had the choice every day of my life to be a blessing or a 重荷（を負わせる） and I want to be a blessing,' Kathie continued.

If I stayed with him I was just a stupid woman that put up with a cheating husband, if I left, [people would have said], "Oh you call yourself a Christian."'
