We decided to find out by putting the 予算-friendly family モーター through its paces.
Half the price of an MPV, but is it half the car? We put the £18,295 Dacia Jogger - the cheapest seven-seat car o n sale in Britain - to the 実験(する) to see if it really can be used on a day-to-day basis as a 予算-friendly people 運送/保菌者
The Romanian brand has been synonymous with affordable モーターing since it was brought 支援する to life under Renault's stewardship at the turn of the century, reentering the UK market in 2013.
Its Sandero has for years been the cheapest supermini in showrooms, while the Duster SUV continues to 意味ありげに undercut all 競争相手s in its segment. These no-frills models have been a 攻撃する,衝突する, with over 200,000 Dacias bought by Britons in the last 10年間.?
The Jogger looks to build on this by 開始 Dacia 所有権 up to 顧客s who need even more space and extra people-lugging capacity for a snip of what they would 普通は have to 支払う/賃金.
Dacia Jogger: Just how cheap is it?

It's not an old Renault underneath...

The flat roof gives it a 霊柩車-like profile and the boot door is squared off to maximise 内部の space.

The 3-cylinder 石油 engine packs a modest 108bhp with turbocharging. To its credit, it doesn't feel underpowered. It produced 最大限 torque between 2,300-3,500rpm, so it's punchy when 加速するing from low 速度(を上げる)s - almost ディーゼル like
It's certainly not the best-扱うing family car we've ever driven, but it rolls in corners no more so than 先頭-奮起させるd MPV 競争相手s, which are 悪名高くも terrible in the turns< /p>
The steering is very light and tuned for navigating tight space in town or taking on multi-storey car parks rather than chasing (競技場の)トラック一周 times
What's it like to 運動?
Unless running 極端に late for the morning school run, this isn't a car 顧客s will 裁判官 predominantly for its 運動ing 業績/成果.

It produced its 最大限 torque (148 ftlb) between 2,300 and 3,500rpm, so it's punchy when 加速するing from low 速度(を上げる)s - almost ディーゼル like. This ample grunt?does a stellar 職業 of masking the 歩行者 11.2 seconds it takes to rumble from 無 to 62mph.
Get up to motorway 速度(を上げる)s and the 制限s of the diminutive powertrain's ability to 追加する to the mph-反対する is more exposed, but it will still 巡航する at 70 やめる happily.?
Even at these?higher 速度(を上げる)s the characteristic three-cylinder chug has been 井戸/弁護士席 muted from the cabin, which means drivers won't be wanting for a megaphone to 持つ/拘留する a conversation with 乗客s in the third 列/漕ぐ/騒動.?

Does it feel like an £18,000 car?

Is it a 本物の seven-seater?
Our biggest 支配する with the Jogger is around its people-carrying 能力, because we don't think it fits the 法案 as a 本物の seven seater.
