EUAN McCOLM: As he teeters on the brink, how hapless Humza Yousaf's string of 失敗s means he should start 調書をとる/予約するing a 除去 先頭...

You have to admire the man’s 厚かましさ/高級将校連 neck. 発表するing his 決定/判定勝ち(する) to end the 力/強力にする-株ing 協定 between the SNP and the Scottish Greens yesterday, First 大臣 Humza Yousaf was as の近くに to the model of 推論する/理由 as he could manage.

With almost 納得させるing 誠実, he spoke of his 願望(する) to move 今後, 協力するing with any and all 政党s in the 利益/興味s of Scotland.

This, he said, was a new beginning for the SNP. ‘A 議会 of 少数,小数派s,’ said Mr Yousaf, ‘need not be a 議会 of enemies.’

This new 2.0 update of the Humza Yousaf model is radically different to the one it 取って代わるs.

The First 大臣 now asks us to 受託する him as a 政治家,政治屋 of pragmatism and good 約束, as an honest 仲買人 who’ll put country before party. Henceforth, he will 捜し出す to work with 同僚s across the 議会. He 主張するs he’s 井戸/弁護士席 used to working constructively with 野党s.

Humza Yousaf is clinging onto power after a string of failures and doubts about his sincerity

Humza Yousaf is 粘着するing の上に 力/強力にする after a string of 失敗s and 疑問s about his 誠実

This, let us not forget, is the same man who, just two days before was feigning 乱暴/暴力を加える because the UK 政府 hadn’t 立法者d on Scotland’s に代わって on the 事柄 of exonerating sub-postmasters wrongly 罪人/有罪を宣告するd during the Horizon スキャンダル.

Mr Yousaf ? knowing 十分な 井戸/弁護士席 that Scottish sub-postmasters were 罪人/有罪を宣告するd under a devolved Scottish 司法(官) system ? cynically tried to create 分割 out of thin 空気/公表する.

The truth, as he knew when he spoke, is that the Scottish 政府 had already recognised the need for its 活動/戦闘 on this 事柄.

Had the UK 政府 発表するd that it did 計画(する) to 立法者 on Scotland’s に代わって, Mr Yousaf would have been performatively 乱暴/暴力を加えるd about a ‘Westminster 力/強力にする 得る,とらえる’.

So, 対立 政治家,政治屋s may be forgiven for taking with a fistful of salt Mr Yousaf’s 誓約(する) that he stands ready to work constructively with them. His 跡をつける 記録,記録的な/記録する in this area is poor, indeed.

Scottish Greens Patrick Harvie and Lorna Slater give a 圧力(をかける) 会議/協議会 after the First 大臣's bombshell that they were no longer 株ing the reins of 力/強力にする

When, for example, 保守的な MSPs ? along with a handful of members of other parties willing to 反抗する the 脅しs and attacks of gender ideologues ? raised 合法的 関心s about how 計画(する)s to 改革(する) the Gender 承認 行為/法令/行動する might 衝撃 on women’s 権利s to same sex spaces, Mr Yousaf was happy to 解任する their 恐れるs. He and his 同僚s gaslit feminists who worried about rapists 存在 placed in women’s 刑務所,拘置所s, sneering at their 関心s, 権利 up until the point that such an 乱暴/暴力を加える took place.

When Scottish 長官 Alister Jack stepped in to 封鎖する the Scottish 政府’s 法律制定 on the 完全に reasonable grounds that it was 相いれない with the UK-wide Equality 行為/法令/行動する, Mr Yousaf remained 反抗的な. Indeed, one of his first 決定/判定勝ち(する)s on becoming First 大臣 was to 圧力(をかける) ahead with a doomed ? and 高くつく/犠牲の大きい ? 合法的な challenge.

MSPs smeared during that time as bigots and transphobes by 同盟(する)s of the First 大臣 might wonder whether the new 改善するd Humza Yousaf is someone to be 信用d. And if the First 大臣 can 推定する/予想する a frosty 歓迎会 from the 保守的なs, he’s ありそうもない to enjoy better relations with Scottish 労働.

Mr Yousaf, after all, has spent much of the past year 宣言するing 労働 indistinguishable from the Tories.

With 労働 on the rise while the SNP slides, why would the party’s Scottish leader be 利益/興味d in reaching out to help the First 大臣.

Of course, one need not be a professional 政治家,政治屋 to have 疑問s about Mr Yousaf’s 誠実.

Yesterday’s First 大臣 with all his talk of 協調 across party lines was unrecognisable as the man who, just last Saturday, led a 旗-waving march of 国家主義者 ideologues through the streets of Glasgow. いっそう少なく than a week ago, Mr Yousaf was happy to style himself the 広大な/多数の/重要な 支持する/優勝者 of the 国家主義者 fringes. Are we really to believe he has suddenly realised that, in fact, he cares about the things that 事柄 to ordinary Scottish families?

If Mr Yousaf had wished to 保持する any 肉親,親類d of moral 当局 over the 決定/判定勝ち(する) to end the SNP’s 協定/条約 with the Greens, he would have 行為/法令/行動するd long ago. Perhaps he could have scrapped the Bute House 協定 last year when it became (疑いを)晴らす that Lorna Slater had made a mess of 設立するing a deposit return 計画/陰謀.

Or maybe he could have 行為/法令/行動するd when the Greens’ 計画(する) to 禁止(する) human activity in 10 per cent of Scottish waters fell apart.

The last point at which Mr Yousaf could have ended the BHA with any dignity (機の)カム with the Greens’ disgusting reaction to the findings of Dr Hilary Cass, the 主要な paediatrician (売買)手数料,委託(する)/委員会/権限d to review NHS 治療 for gender 混乱させるd children and young people in England.

The Cass Review ? a serious piece of 研究 行為/行うd over four years ? 含む/封じ込めるd 破滅的な 結論s about the safety of 確かな 治療s. Dr Cass’s work was met with 乱暴/暴力を加える from trans 権利s 行動主義者s who 需要・要求するd that these untested 麻薬s should still be made 利用できる.

This was the point at which serious 主要な 政治家,政治屋s had a moral 義務 to speak up. Dr Cass’s 報告(する)/憶測 may have made difficult reading for gender ideologues but the science within was ? and remains ? more important than their feelings.

Asked about the Cass review on BBC One Scotland’s Sunday Show, Mr Harvie said he had seen too many 批評s of the work for him to be able to say he 受託するd it was a ‘valid 科学の 文書’.

In the 指名する of public safety, Mr Yousaf should have 除去するd Mr Harvie for spreading 疑問 about such an important piece of 研究.

Instead, the First Minster continued to 賞賛する Mr Harvie, even as the Scottish Greens began organising a 会合 at which their members would be 招待するd to 投票(する) on the 未来 of the Bute House 協定.

Mr Yousaf kicked the Greens out of 政府 to save his own 肌. He 捨てるd his partners before they 捨てるd him.

Hell, the First 大臣 is now discovering, has no fury like a Green 政治家,政治屋 軽蔑(する)d.

Mr Yousaf was (刑事)被告 in a 声明 from Scottish Green co-leader Lorna Slater of betraying 未来 世代s with his 決定/判定勝ち(する).

With the Greens in combative 方式, Mr Yousaf’s days in office may now be numbered.

The Scottish 保守的なs yesterday 発表するd a 投票(する) of no 信用/信任 in the First 大臣. 労働 and the 自由主義の 民主党員s signalled their 意向 to 支援する it. By の近くに of 商売/仕事, the Greens had 確認するd they, too, would 投票(する) against Mr Yousaf’s First Ministership.

If he is to 勝利,勝つ that 投票(する), Humza Yousaf will now have to 説得する Ash Regan, who defected from the SNP to Alex Salmond’s Alba Party last year, to 決起大会/結集させる behind him.

It may, given relations between Mr Salmond and the SNP, be time for Humza Yousaf to start 招待するing 除去 companies to give him a 引用する for (疑いを)晴らすing Bute House.
