With putter in one 手渡す and a glass of red in the other, my father said: ‘I would love to play there.’

That was two years ago as he and I watched Miguel Angel Jimenez 勝利，勝つ the Spanish Open at the PGA Catalunya 訴える手段／行楽地, 近づく Barcelona. Now, here we are, about to tee off on this famous course and, what’s more, it’s Dad’s 70th birthday.

On most ゴルフ trips, the hotel never matches the course. Perhaps that’s because most golfers just want good game and a comfortable bed.?

But the new five-星／主役にする Hotel Camiral, which has been 改造するd at a cost of £28.5million and only opened in June, has much more to 申し込む／申し出.

It’s luxurio us, chic, but also has a real family atmosphere.

We play our first 一連の会議、交渉／完成する on the 小旅行する Course, a perfect warm-up for the big one. I pip my dad.

‘I’ve travelled all this way to play like a plonker,’ he says by way of 分析. We’re both a bit dispirited by our 業績／成果s and nearly go straight 支援する to our rooms.

But as the sun 始める，決めるs, he 示唆するs a quick drink by the pool and we remind ourselves we’re not professional golfers and never will be.

Then it’s time for dinner. The Costa Brava has some of the best restaurants in the world. In fact, 13 have Michelin 星／主役にするs and they are all within an hour’s 運動 from here.?

So the hotel’s 1477 restaurant has to be good to compete. It’s called 1477 because that’s the year the first Catalan cookbook was written.

We go to town on the suckling pig and wild sea bass, and don’t 持つ／拘留する 支援する on the 地元の rose. This is followed by Catalan cream and a dessert ワイン. This isn’t the way McIlroy or Stenson would 準備する for the ups and 負かす／撃墜するs of the Stadium Course.
