As I stepped 船内に the Disney Fantasy for my first-ever Disney 巡航する, I wondered if it would be the happiest place at sea.
It was certainly astonishing - in the best possible way.
My sailing was from Port Canaveral in Florida to the Eastern Caribbean, 含むing a stop at Disney's Castaway Cay 私的な island.
Here I 明らかにする／漏らす eight things that surprised me during the seven-night voyage, from hidden meanings in the ship's design to the joys of searching for secret sunken Disney treasures on a snorkel 追跡する.

1. DISNEY REALLY KNOWS HOW TO SPOIL GUESTS

DISNEY FANTASY - FIVE FUN FACTS?
At 1,115 feet, the Disney Fantasy is longer than the 高さ of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (1,063ft).
The stained glass chandelier in the atrium ロビー has more than 60,000 （疑いを）晴らす Swarovski 水晶 beads.
AquaDuck, the first shipboard water coaster, is 765 feet of snaking tubes with a four-deck 減少（する）.
The ship horns can sound When You Wish Upon a 星／主役にする, Be Our Guest, It's a Small World and more.
The Dumbo and Timothy statues (above) on the 厳しい 重さを計る more than 2,300 続けざまに猛撃するs. Dumbo is more than eight feet tall.
Disney knows how to spoil guests.?
I was astonished by how attentive the 乗組員 were - no ask was too big.?
My Oceanview Verandah 特別室 had been kitted out with fabulous magnet 旗，新聞一面トップの大見出し／大々的に報道するs, Disney pillowcases and a matching throw that I 絶対 loved.?
When I asked the 特別室 hostess if I could take them home as souvenirs, she gleefully replied 'yes' - I was thrilled.?On another occasion, an incredibly 肉親，親類d restaurant server 熱心に 供給するd an off-the-menu drink, which meant he had to travel to another 場所 on the ship and 支援する, just because my guest fancied it.?
The かかわり合い and joy the staff had for their work was 無敵の.?
One of my favourite 遭遇（する）s was my trip to?Senses Spa & Salon, a tranquil 環境 with 見解（をとる）s overlooking the ocean. I have had my fair 株 of massages, but nothing やめる as relaxing as the scalp, neck and shoulder pamper 開会／開廷／会期 I enjoyed at the 素晴らしい 施設.?
2. THERE ARE AMAZING BEHIND-THE SCENES EXPERIENCES?
At the Buena Vista Theater, one of dozens of onboard entertainment halls, 退役軍人 Pixar animator Bobby Podesta 株d an amazing behind-the-scenes look at a new Cars 活気／アニメーション story, 申し込む／申し出ing exhilarating insights into how the fan-favourite film is brought to life.
Lucky attendees were 手渡すd 高級な goodie 捕らえる、獲得するs at the end of the 物語を話す人／作家’s 贈呈.
It was one of many experiences that made me feel like I was on some 肉親，親類d of constant VIP guest 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）.
3. THE DINING IS POSH

I loved the gourmet cuisine by award-winning chefs at Remy (指名するd after the chef-ネズミ on 活気／アニメーション Ratatouille), where dinner service felt like an elegant culinary showcase and a?署名 冷気／寒がらせるd Taittinger シャンペン酒 cocktail was made tableside to kickstart the 祝宴.
And at Italian restaurant Palo, ocean 見解（をとる）s are coupled with superior service and 最高の，を越す puddings.
There, I ate the most delicious dessert ever - a buttermilk panna cotta マリファナ served on strawberry popping pearls and garnished with pistachio 崩壊する.?
4. THERE ARE SECRET MEANINGS BEHIND THE DECOR
Fantasy's des ign 支払う／賃金s homage to Disney characters - and some parts 含む／封じ込める hidden meanings. Palo, above, is home to a glass chandelier that 代表するs spaghetti (not pictured)
The design of the ship 含む／封じ込めるs secret codes - and often 支払う／賃金s homage?to Disney movies, 活気／アニメーションs and characters.

For example, in Cabanas, the casual dining restaurant, two 抱擁する mosaics based on scenes and characters in Disney’s Pixar animated film Finding Nemo are 陳列する，発揮するd.?
The 手渡す-（手先の）技術d designs are more than eight feet high and 含む／封じ込める だいたい 194,500 tiles in 200 colours.
Other design elements are more subtle.
For example, the ship, like the 残り／休憩（する） of the Disney (n)艦隊／(a)素早い, is painted in Mickey Mouse-奮起させるd colours ? 黒人／ボイコット 船体, white superstructure, yellow 削減する and two 巨大（な） red funnels.?
And in Italian restaurant Palo, there's a custom glass chandelier 奮起させるd by spaghetti and meatballs.
There are also features that help guide you around the ship.?
For example, 特別室s on the left-手渡す 味方する (port 味方する) have fish sculptures as door markers, and those on the 権利 (starboard), are embossed with seahorses.
5. DISNEY'S PRIVATE ISLAND REALLY IS A PARADISE - AND IT'S HOME TO SECRET TREASURES

I was blown away by how idyllic Disney's Castaway Cay is.?
The?award-winning island in the Bahamas - one of the stops on our voyage - is a literal 楽園, with sprawling palm trees, 水晶-（疑いを）晴らす waters and perfect white-sand beaches.
In my snorkelling gear I 調査するd a 'snorkel 追跡する' in a 22-acre lagoon. As an array of colourful fish swam beneath me I 追跡（する）d for sunken Disney treasures, which 含むd a Mickey Mouse statue and Captain Nemo's 潜水艦,?Nautilus.

I was surprised by just how ahead of the curve Disney is with its onboard experiences.
Take restaurant Animator's Palate, for example - it's joyously unique, 申し込む／申し出ing 主題d dining experiences where 創造 knows no bounds.?
Here, I was asked to draw my own four 四肢d character, before it was brought to life in みごたえのある fashion on a 大規模な television 審査する in the restaurant, と一緒に the designs of other diners.?
On another occasion, 鎮圧する, the old tortoise from Finding Nemo, made an 外見 interacting with guests around the 発生地.
At Animator's Palate Shanique drew a character that was 'brought?to life in みごたえのある fashion on a 大規模な television 審査する'
For breakfast at Animator’s Palate, Woody and his Toy Story friends Jessie and Bullseye joined us, singing the catchy Hey Howdy Hey tune and 提起する／ポーズをとるing for pictures with excited diners as we ate crispy bacon, Danish pastries and American 薄焼きパン／素焼陶器s.
No need for a notepad or pen, as all guests are given adorable 署名 cards with an autograph from each character.
7. PICTURE-PERFECT HAVENS FOR BOTH KIDS - AND ADULTS

I get goosebumps just thinking about those perfectly 平和的な adults-only areas onboard Disney Fantasy.?
いつかs I didn’t want to be bothered by excitable children - and that’s 承認する. Disney had me covered with 静かな Cove Pool, an 排他的に over-18?multi-level pool.
It was the perfect place to soak up the sun and 熱帯の （水以外の）飲料s were only a short swim away - thanks to the swim-up 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業.?
At night, I sank into an impressive cocktail that glowed in the dark at sleek lounge Skyline, which features 数字表示式の 見解（をとる）s by Disney Imagineering of skylines from around the world, from London to Barcelona and from Hong Kong to New York.
I also paid Meridian a visit for a cheeky tipple before dinner and passed through O’Gills Pub, a lively Irish 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業 perfect for watching 冒険的な events on HD TVs.?

The Oceaneer Club, for three to 10-year-olds, 誇るs a 星／主役にする Wars 'holotable', a recreation of Andy's room from Toy Story (above) and a magical Tinker Bell-主題d forest

8. THE SHOWS ARE GOOD ENOUGH FOR BROADWAY
