A mother and daughter have 明らかにする／漏らすd what it's like 株ing their dream 職業 as 操縦するs, working for the same 航空機による - and getting to 'land' a 計画（する） together in a 明言する／公表する-of-the-art simulator.

Teresa Irving, 56, and her daughter Gabriella Irving, 29, both work for?British 航空路s, where Teresa serves as a Boeing 787 captain and her daughter as an Airbus A320 first officer.

The pair often cross paths at their?Heathrow Airport base, where they wish each other a '安全な flight' for the day and 株 'a big 抱擁する' before jetting off on separate 航空機.

And Gabriella, who goes by Ella, said she still calls her mum after every 上陸, two years into 存在 a qualified 操縦する.

On Mother's Day, the pair 株d their 賞賛 for one another in a touching 排除的 interview with?MailOnline Travel.

Ella said: 'I have always been so proud of mum's career. When I was little, I would find myself excited to tell people about her 職業.

'I have very 早期に memories of 存在 on the flight deck - 支援する in the days when children were 許すd to visit - and it almost seemed normal to see her 飛行機で行くing this 抱擁する 航空機, knowing what all of those hundreds of buttons did and talking on the 無線で通信するs.'

It wasn't '計画（する）' sailing for Teresa to pin 負かす／撃墜する her dream 職業, though.

最初, she 追求するd a career as a doctor, leaving school after her A levels in 1985 to begin 医療の school at University College London (UCL).

Then in her second year, she transferred to read psychology, realising that 薬／医学 'wasn't for her'.

It was only after she was 受託するd into the University of London 空気／公表する 騎兵大隊 that Teresa realised her calling.

'It literally changed my life,' she said. 'After my first 週末 飛行機で行くing at RAF Abingdon, two flights 含むing aerobatics, I remember phoning my mum and telling her I was going to be a 操縦する.

'From that moment on, I went 飛行機で行くing as much as I かもしれない could and was fortunate enough to spend three years 伸び（る）ing hours while I 完全にするd my degree.'

Teresa 卒業生（する）d in 1990 as the 王室の Airforce started to 受託する 女性（の） 操縦するs.

She 適用するd for a position there as a 操縦する and also for a place on BA's sp onsored cadet 計画／陰謀.

'I was 決定するd that I was going to 飛行機で行く one way or another,' she said.

'As luck would have it, I was 受託するd for both, but then had an agonising 決定／判定勝ち（する） to make.

'I had always known that I 手配中の，お尋ね者 to be a mum and this became the deciding factor for me. As the RAF did not 申し込む／申し出 any maternity leave at that time, I 受託するd the 申し込む／申し出 from BA.'

Teresa began training at Oxford 空気／公表する Training School in August that year, 収入 her wings 16 months later. She has worked at BA ever since, during which time she has also raised three children.

Teresa said she gets emotional seeing Ella wear the BA uniform she has worn for so long?

Her eldest, Ella, said she has 'always been in awe' of her mum who has 'juggled an incredibly rewarding but 需要・要求するing career with 存在 a fully 現在の parent'.

Now the sky seems to be the 限界 for Ella too, 述べるd by her mum as 'a 半導体素子 off the old blo ck'.

Teresa said:?'I get やめる emotional when I see Ella wearing the uniform I’ve worn for so long and seeing her so comfortable in what was only my world but is now ours.

'I love that she calls me after each trip to 株 anecdotes and that I understand the nuances, and I think this 評価 of each other's 環境 has brought us even closer together.

'To see Ella so 熱烈な about the career she's 乗る，着手するing upon is everything a mum could wish for.'

The pair dream of one day 飛行機で行くing a 計画（する） together,?with Teresa?'under strict 指示／教授／教育' from Ella not to retire before doing so.

But there might be some 審議 over which 航空機 they take off in, with Ella favouring the Airbus and Teresa a self-自白するd 'Boeing girl'.

And it's no wonder.

The mum has an impre ssive history with the aeroplane family, which has a yoke for manoeuvring, while Airbus 計画（する）s have a sidestick.

During her career at BA she has flown the Boeing 757, 767, 777, and the 'iconic' 747 巨大な jet. Now? She's a captain on the 787 Dreamliner.

For Mother's Day, Teresa got the chance to show her daughter what the Boeing 787 is all about when they were 招待するd to put BA's flight simulator of the 航空機 to the 実験（する）.

'Brilliant, lots of fun,' Teresa 追加するs. 'See, you can 飛行機で行く Boeings easily,' she jokes to her daughter in the ビデオ.

Speaking to MailOnline Travel, Ella said the experience was 'everything I 手配中の，お尋ね者 it to be and more' - and that 飛行機で行くing with her mum was 'nothing like the 運動ing lessons we used to have when I was 17'.

She 賞賛するd Teresa as 'an amazing captain' but jested that the Boeing 航空機 was 'much easier' to 飛行機で行く thanks to its '長，率いる up 陳列する，発揮する' - which shows the 操縦する important flight （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） while still 許すing them to see through the 操縦室 window.

飛行機で行くing 計画（する）s definitely runs in the family for Ella, whose dad and step-dad are also 操縦するs.

As for her two siblings, they have 'so far decided to keep their feet on the ground', she said. 'But with our family, there is no telling.'?

But it is Teresa who appears to be Ella's 運動ing 軍隊, 述べるd by her daughter as 'truly 奮起させるing'.

'But also, when you come home, you get time at home where you don't have other things to do apart from be a mum and that's just amazing.'
