Lucy Southerton, 28,? from Birmingham, has been working on 巡航する ships for nine years.

Lucy explained: 'On 巡航する ships, there's a lot of people from the Phillippines, from India, from South Africa, Spain, Serbia, ウクライナ共和国.

'So everyone has a different first language and everyone has an accent - and it is scary going to work on a 巡航する ship where you have to speak English, which isn't your first language.

'When you're learning a new language it's all about growing your 信用／信任 so it's really really crap when you have a 乗客 say something bad about your English.'

The 巡航する ship 労働者 advised: 'You can 明白に say 'Could you repeat that please?' or 'I didn't やめる understand you, what was that?' but what 乗組員 members hate, やめる rightly, is when 乗客s are like: 'You need to learn English, your English is terrible'.
